CODING FOR ARTISTS

Tuesdays, Grade 3 through Grade 5 with Mr. Abir and Mr. Joey (CodeSpeak Lab Coaches)

Students will combine art and coding using Scratch, a block-based programming language created by MIT. They create fun projects like stories, costumes, and 8-bit games, helping them develop creativity and problem-solving skills while learning to code. As a final project, they'll create their version of a painting app, similar to Microsoft Paint. We will do new projects every week, so both returning and beginner students are welcome!
